Skate Park
The New Castle Parks Board applied for the Henry County Food and Beverage Grant in 2016 and received a funding amount of $275,000. Hunger was the company who built the skate park and it was officially completed in July 2017. Since the skate park completion, an observation deck has been built to accommodate the many visitors that utilize this amenity. This skate park is one of the biggest in the Midwest and attracts several out of state skateboard/biking enthusiasts.
