Board of Works Meeting Minutes - 5/20/2013
BOARD OF WORKS
May 20, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor York
CITIZENS APPEARING:
· No citizens appeared before the board.
ORDER OF BUSINESS:
· Director Barker moved to approve the minutes of the last meeting. Attorney Copenhaver seconded. Motion carried 3-0
· Director Barker made a motion to approve the Payroll, Water, Wastewater and General fund claims for the week of May 13, to May 20, 2013. Attorney Copenhaver seconded. Motion carried 3-0
DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS:
· Janice Burns, Utility Office Manager presented a policy approved by Utility Impact Board to Board of Works for approval of an ordinance presented to City Council to establish a Wastewater Deposit of $50.00 for residents and $100.00 for business'. Attorney Copenhaver moved to approve presentation of an ordinance to City Council. Director Barker seconded. Motion carried 3-0
· Melvin Watson, Water Superintendent presented a quote for well service and cleaning requesting that 2 of the 4 wells be cleaned this year. Mayor York moved to approve the service and cleaning of 2 wells. Attorney Copenhaver seconded. Motion carried 3-0
