SPECIAL BUSINESS:
· Council-lady Bertram moved to suspend and accept the minutes of the last meeting. Councilman Peckinpaugh seconded. Motion carried 7-0
PROCLAMATIONS:
· No proclamations were presented.
RESOLUTIONS:
President Koger read Resolution #12032012-1 and moved to approve. Councilman Peckinpaugh seconded. Motion carried 6-1
ORDINANCES:
2nd Reading & Public Hearing
City Attorney Copenhaver officially opened public hearing of Ordinance #3662 to citizens present. No citizens presented before the Council. City Attorney Copenhaver officially closed the public hearing.
President Koger moved to approve Ordinance #3662 on second reading. Council-lady Malone seconded. Motion carried 7-0
· Ordinance #3658 - Amend Salary Ordinace #3651 - 1st reading
President Koger read Ordinance #3658 and moved to approveon first reading. Councilman Peckinpaugh seconded. Motion carried 7-0
· Ordinance #3660 - Amend Salary Ordinance #3650 - 1st reading
President Koger read Ordinance #3660 and moved to approve on first reading. Council-lady Bertram seconded. Motion carried 7-0
· Ordinance #3661 - Amend Salary Ordinance #3652 - 1st reading
President Koger read Ordinance #3661 and moved to approve on first reading. Councilman Peckinpaugh seconded. Motion carried 7-0
· Councilman Reid informed administration of street lights out. Councilman Reid was asked to e-mail JeanAnn Hill, Mayor's Assistant with the locations. Councilman Reid also informed Council and Administration of the Hope Initiative meetings regarding the Stellar Grant, noting 100+ attendance and community support was key.
MAYOR REPORTS:
· Mayor York thanked all who donated and participated in the lighting of downtown.
CITIZENS REQUESTS:
· Norma Dishman, New Castle also noted what a joyful experience downtown was.
DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS:
· No reports were presented to council.
