All applicants had to meet the income qualifications in order to participate in the grant program. Eligible work that can be done to a home includes electrical upgrades, new roofs, windows, siding, painting, heating, handicap accessibility measures, etc.
The City will continue to apply for grant funds to service previous and new applicants. The City would also attempt to use local contractors during the project, therefore assisting an economic boost for the local economy.
