BOARD ELECTIONS
Jerry Hyden moved to nominate Jim Cole as Board President. With no other nominations it was closed and 2nd by Christian Miller. Motion carried 3-0
Christian Miller moved to nominate Jerry Hyden as Vice President of the Board with no other nominations, it was closed and 2nd by Jim Cole. Motion carried 3-0
ORDER OF BUSINESS
Mayor York presented a request from the Indy Dog & Disc Club reserving Osborne Park for their annual event July 19-21, 2013. Jim Cole moved to approve the request, Christian Miller 2nd , Motion carried 3-0.
Clerk Treasurer York presented a request from Osborne Park Coordinator Candace Hill to represent, attend and apply for Henry County Foundation Grants for Osborne Park. Jim Cole moved to approve the request submitted from Candace Hill for this and any other grant opportunities deemed appropriate and available for Osborne Park. Jerry Hyden 2nd. Motion carried 4-0
MAYOR'S REPORT
Mayor York presented the advertisement for the city's first annual Easter Egg Hunt scheduled March 30, 2013 from 2-4 at Baker Park.
Mayor York reported that Shaylei Rogers had committed to another year as pool manager. Mayor York also informed board members that city administration intended to run pool concession stand this year and requested discussion and approval. After discussion Christian Miller moved to approve running of the pool concession stand by city administration. Brad Crowe 2nd. Motion carried 4-0
SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT
Superintendent Ayers informed the board that tree removal was complete and stumps were being removed. Jim Cole requested that the stump near the basketball courts be removed during this process.
