BOARD OF WORKS
March 11, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor York
CITIZENS APPEARING:
· No citizens appeared before the board.
ORDER OF BUSINESS:
· Mayor York moved to approve minutes from the previous meeting. Director Barker seconded. Motion carried 2-0
· Mayor York made a motion to accept the Payroll, Water, Wastewater and General fund claims for the week of March 4, to March 11, 2013. Director Barker seconded. Motion carried 2-0
· Director Barker moved to approve, with Mayor York second, United Consulting bills for Wastewater in the amount of;
o $7,000.00 - invoice #1190501-13
o $2,291.56 - invoice #1290503-03
Motion carried 2-0
· Director Barker presented quotes for the Cemetery's continuous foundations.
o $3,800.00 per foundation - Dugger's Construction
o $2,500.00 per foundation - L & L Concrete
Director Barker moved to approve the quote from L & L Concrete. Mayor York seconded. Motion carried 2-0
· Chief Catron presented a request to hire Chase Koger as a new police officer. Mayor York moved to approve the request. Director Barker seconded. Motion carried 2-0
